Guy Walker (1953-2023)
Founding Director
Guy was the originator of the Windship Technology concept and a passionate advocate for the use of low carbon emission technologies. He was a ship and liner operator and CEO of Hawknet Ltd for 20 years, CEO of Star Marine Ltd and a former member of the Baltic Exchange for 24 years.
Robert Elliott (1952-2023)
Founding Director and Chairman
Robert was one of the founding members of the Windship Technology team and fully understood the power that wind assistance could provide through his passion for sailing. He led one of London’s leading law firms as Chairman and Partner of Linklaters LLP and held further positions of Chairman of Permanent TBS Holdings PLC (Irish banking group) and Chairman of Saranac Partners Ltd (Investment management). He was also a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron Racing Ltd.
